The eleventh edition of the chocolate festival will be held in the heart of Ħamrun on Saturday the 26th October 2019. Oral tradition has it that during the rule of Grand Master Perelos, cocoa beans were stored in Ħamrun in the area known as ‘tas-Samra’. This festival looks into past traditions and innovative uses of chocolate; a central ingredient in the art of food making. Top chefs, bakers and chocolate makers will give live demonstrations and share their creations with

visitors young and old.

The festival revolves around themes that range from pleasure and creativity, to passion and gourmet tasting, health and wellness. It is a special opportunity to enjoy a wide range of chocolate related products through the creative hands of local talents. This definitely makes for a great family atmosphere.
